Season Opener

General Rules

  • First and foremost, No BS! - You will be done attending ATI Truck Meets Events if we have to ask you to leave. We do not tolerate property destruction, burnouts in non designated areas or fights.

  • No fullsize dirtbikes, Quads or SXSs ( Except those running in the Drags)

  • Anyone who enters the property must sign a release waiver

  • No alcohol allowed in the pits or the staging area.

  • Children must be supervised at all times

  • ATI Truck Meets is not responsible for any lost or stolen items


Truck & SXS Drag Rules

  • All drivers must register prior to competing in drags

  • Must have working brakes - they will be checked

  • Passengers allowed with helmets

  • DOT Helmets Mandatory and Fire Extinguisher recommended

  • All drivers must attend drivers meeting

  • Seat belts must be worn

  • Numbers will be marked on your windshield, listen for number to be called and be ready to race

  • If truck does not start when you are called you will be given 5 minutes to get engine started or until end of the class. If unable to start truck you will be disqualified.

  • Trucks will be spot-checked

  • After competition drags we will hold unlimited* grudge match races for $10. *You can run as many grudge matches as time allows.

  • No Refunds

  • Rules are subject to change

  • ATI Truck Meets decisions are Final!

Truck Pull Related Rules

  • All drivers must register prior to competing in Pulls

  • Only driver allowed in truck during pull

  • No tire regulations outside of stock class

  • DOT Helmets Mandatory and Fire Extinguisher recommended

  • No jerking of truck during pull

  • All drivers must attend drivers meeting

  • Truck and sled must stay within boundary lines

  • Your pull is over when your forward motion is stopped or if you are flagged

  • If breakage occurs, pull distance will be measured at that point

  • All drivers must obey flagman’s signal

  • Seat belts must be worn

  • Numbers will be marked on your windshield, listen for number to be called and be ready to pull.

  • All trucks must have a frame mounted hitch and a 3 1/2 inch twisted clevis required. (Please bring your own Clevis) or opening in hitch for sled hook. Clevis pin cannot be higher than 26 inches with stock mounted receiver and will be checked before and after pull. No Pinto Hooks!

Class Specific Rules

1. Street Legal 6000/7000 lbs Gas and Eco Boost

This is a stock class. Trucks must be factory appearing. Trucks must be street-legal. Stock trucks run on stock fuel. Current registration, inspection and insurance card required. Motor must be factory installed . No pulling from bumper. No solid suspension. Trucks must have a workable suspension. Trucks must be driven to the event. Flatbed or homemade bed allowed, and must cover tires and stock length. Wooden flatbeds are permitted. If judges smell racing fuel, the truck in question will be disqualified and entry fee will be forfeited. Snowplow frames and brush guards are allowed. No open exhaust permitted. No headers. No ladder or traction bars. Eco Boost will follow same rules but be its own class

2. Street Modified 6200 lbs Super stock DOT

Aluminum intake and open headers are allowed, limit of one carburetor and upright exhaust. Trucks may use anything for carburetors but only one can be used. Motor must be naturally aspirated. Gasoline and racing gasoline only. Trucks must pull from a Class E or drawbar hitch. Hitch must be safe. No pulling from bumper. Only solid suspension. Traction bars are allowed. All trucks with standard transmissions must have steel bellhousing or blanket. Three driveshaft hoops are recommended over each shaft, 3/8 aluminum or 5/16 steel by ¾” wide. One strap each drive shaft must be within 6 inches of every U-joint with maximum 10 inches. Trucks can have a weight bar not to exceed 60 inches from center of front axle of weight rack. Weights must be secured. Unlimited cubic block size

3. Street Legal Enhanced 7000 lbs Gas

Exhaust systems will be closed. Must have muffler. Exhaust must exit behind cab. No solid suspension. Trucks must have a workable suspension with a minimum of 2 inches of movement at all times. Snowplow frames are acceptable. No outrageous spring stacks. Hitch point may not be more than 26 inches from the ground. No angles, level, pivot, or axis hitches are allowed and the hitch must be satisfactory in all directions. The hook point must be past the bed of the truck. The hole for hitching must accommodate a minimum of 3.5’ across. No drawbars allowed. All weights to be in the box only and secured. No weights out front. No hidden weights. Carb with 4 barrel carb with no more than 1” spacer. 500 cubic inch max

4. Stock Diesel – 8,500 lbs

Stock diesel truck only. DOT tires, uncut. Bolt on traction bars only. No excessive smoke. Engine and drive train must be factory stock equipment. No after-market enhancements, programmers are not allowed. Trucks must run on pump diesel or bio-diesel. No nitrous, alcohol, propane, or water meth will be allowed. No added blocks will be allowed in rear suspension. Leveling kits allowed

5. Hot Stock Diesel 8,500 lbs

DOT approved tires-uncut. Engine and drive train must be factory-stock equipment. No aftermarket lift pump. Trucks must run on pump diesel or bio-diesel. No nitrous, alcohol, propane or water meth will be allowed. Lift kits allowed. Traction bars allowed. No weight brackets. Cold air intake. Compressor wheel – OEM Only. Tuning permitted. Stock turbos only

6. Open Diesel 9000 lbs

Dually trucks allowed. Weight brackets allowed, No more that 60” from center of axles. Solid suspension allowed. Guillotine shut off

7. Powder Puff Gas Stock Only

Driver cannot pull in any other class

8. Powder Puff Diesel Stock Only

Driver cannot pull in any other class

9. Open Gas 6200

5” Bore spacing allowed. Exhaust allowed through hood. Cut tires allowed. Aluminum intake and open headers are allowed and upright exhaust. Trucks can use anything for carburetors. Motor must be naturally aspirate or mechanical fuel injection only. Gasoline and racing gasoline Alcohol fuels only. Trucks must pull from a Class E or drawbar hitch. Hitch must be safe. No pulling from bumper. All trucks with standard transmissions must have steel bellhousing or blanket. Three driveshaft hoops are recommended over each shaft, 3/8 aluminum or 5/16 steel by ¾” wide. One strap each drive shaft must be within 6 inches of every U-joint with maximum 10 inches. Trucks can have a weight bar not to exceed 60 inches from the center of front axle or weight rack. Weights must be secure. No Nos.

10. Diesel – 8,000 2.6 Diesel Smooth Bore

Front Hanging weights allowed not to exceed 60” from center of front axle. Secured weights allowed in bed of truck. Only front brakes required. Must have OEM chassis. Coolant system optional. 1 ton drive line-gear. No Drop box. Drive shaft loops required. Hand throttle allowed. P-Pump allowed. Harmonic Balancer Shield or Damper needed. Working kill switch or guillotine. No injectables. 158” wheel base up to 172” . No more than 460 cubic
